My wife and I have been eating here since before they became famous... the only negative is now that so many people have learned of Jackie M's there is sometimes a wait! :-DBest cheese-steak place in the CSRA by far! Worth making a trip, and they take to-go orders over the phone if you want to pick up dinner on your way home from work!

It's a really soulful place and dope environment. The people there are like your family. You know when you go to your favorite Auntie's house and all your favorite cousin's are there too.

They are outstanding!!!!! I'm just gonna wait till the neophytes and Band Wagoners to get pass the Yelp top 100 announcement so I can fully enjoy one of my favorite places to eat again! Keep up the good work Mrs. Jackie, Clinton and crew!!!!

My name is Charles but they call me Bubba that the name I used on the order. Been trying to get through for months always went to voicemail but I got in touch tonight It was 20 mins until closing I explained to the guy I couldn’t get there before 8 because of the distance of travel. He was nice and said don’t worry come on we will wait Got there was greeted by a gentleman directed me where to go and get my order and met another gentleman was as nice as the first The food was great and I will highly recommend this place and will be back. It was worth the ride.

Im neutral to it right now it was my first time visiting but was not fir myself so will definitely go to have a experience and do another review...love the menu items and choices especially the fact they sell koolaid does not get any better than that

Really good food. I would recommend to call ahead to order but the food is worth the wait. The cheese steak are close to the Philadelphia cheese steak.

Believe the hype! This place is awesome. Probably the best fries and chicken philly I have ever had. Ranch and cucumber sauce are awesome as well. Definitely worth the wait. I will be back as soon as I can. Employees are great!

This place is amazing spot to eat. The food is delicious with amazing quality. Based on the service and food quality that they provide prices are extremely reasonable. The owner and staff make you feel so comfortable in this tiny place and treat you like a family member. Jackie M's and Son Cafe is true definition of SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY. I would definitely recomand it to all family amd friends.

Absolutely delightful hidden gem in the heart of South Augusta. Totally worth the drive and the hours. They make these great eggroll creation called soul rolls that they fill with various things, and they're super good. They also serve wings and what they're known for, Philly cheesesteak as well as cheesecakes. Overall really great and would totally recommend. We're coming back to hey Jamaican patties in the future.

Incredibly chill and homey place to be! Everyone gets treated like you're a regular when you come here. Different employees just came by, checked on us, and maybe chatted a bit, everyone was so kind. And, the food was so freshly made when I ordered it I had to let it cool down before I ate it! Delicious, and huge portions. They even had some pretty good vegetarian hot sandwich options for my wife! My wife and I only ate half of our meal and took the rest home. Both of us have lived in Augusta all our lives and never known this place was here, and are so happy we found it now. Definitely come by if you want an almost at home experience while you're there.

Food is very good. Friendly service. The soul rolls were awesome. They even serve kool-aid. 😋. Everything is made to order. They even offer a military discount.

They are very friendly and treat you like family. The food is indescribably delectable. After my first visit, I began telling everyone how amazing this place is! I will certainly return!

I was expecting small but not that small. We got there at 11:45 to try to beat a crowd and we got in and ordered in about 5 minutes. We found a small table and sat in wait. Folks really started piling in and the friendly woman who was working was constantly on the phone taking call-in orders. When our food came out(30min wait) we decided to take it elsewhere to chow down with a little more peace. The food was all excellent. We got a philly cheesesteak, buffalo chicken cheesesteak, and pizza cheesesteak and all were outstanding. Next time I will call ahead and just pickup and leave.

Eat here. This is some of the best food I have ever had, in Augusta or otherwise. It's a family owned and operated business, everyone involved is clearly passionate about what they do and the food reflects that. I have never once had a bad meal here and you won't either.They make seasonal cheesecakes. I've had the red velvet, key lime, and I've got a sweet potato waiting for me. They're creamy, flavorful, and not overpowering sweet. Get the meal and get some soul rolls on the side, you will not be disappointed.

Food was amazing!!! Definitely would go back if we come back to Augusta. Had the Buffalo chicken Philly and it was phenomenal. Even their seasoned fries were extraordinary. Service was fantastic and they were very aware of their customers. It's in an old converted house which is actually pretty cool.

The staff here were very polite and pleasant! The food was hot and scrumptious! While me and my mother were eating one of the owners came to check on us! The restaurant has that down home southern feel to it and was well ventilated, well kept and most importantly clean! I see why this intimate restaurant is ranked #77 on Yelp's top 100! I highly recommend this restaurant and I will be back! Suggestion: Soul Rolls (jerk chicken egg rolls), awesome french fries (made to prder) and Jerk chicken wings! 5 Star rating! 👌🏾

This is truly the best restaurant in Georgia. So glad we have a slice a Philly right here in Augusta. I recommend the Kitchen Sink, soul rolls, and Velvet Cheese cake.

Okay now... Read very carefully. I went twice. The philly sandwiches are a bit over priced. The quality is average to me. The wings are way to expensive. They're good, but not that good for the price. I also had the philly soul rolls. They were not what I expected. I'll try the other types on my 3rd visit. So far they are just an average spot in my book. I've cooked at several different restaurants in my days. One of them have been voted best fine dining for 14 yrs straight at one point in time. Calverts !!!

It is always a great pleasure to order from this local establishment... You have to try the buffalo chicken egg rolls and the jerked chicken wings (fried). It has been a Nationally Recognized Restaurant just recently!!

Called and ordered for pick up waited about 5 mins and it is definitely worth the wait! Top 100 Restaurants in the United States by Yelp! The Philly cheesesteak is so good! The lemon pepper wings are good as well!!! Fries are the best ones I have had in a long time!

Yummy, yummy, yummy... they forgot all of my toppings on my sub, sub was plain but still delicious. I went during lunch rush hour. Waited an hour for meal, worth the wait. Only wish I had the full experience but what I did have was Delicious. You can't go wrong either way.

The people make this place great. I love the friendly people and the unique atmosphere. Ie only tried one thing that was really good everything else has been very good. It's always in my back pocket place to return. They treat you like family.

Got the veggie hoagie and it was definitely the best one I’ve ever had. I hope they don’t stray from doing the veggie sandwich because I can seen myself buying one at least once a week! Couldn’t even share any it was so damn good

The soul rolls are great but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The hot sandwiches are the best! It's well work the money and the desserts are great!

Hidden Gem... and I mean really hidden. We took my inlaws here when they visited, and they kinda gave us the side eyes as we pulled up. "Is this where we're eating?? This is just a house, let's go to an actual restaurant." They changed their tunes as soon as we were met with outstanding service, and food that's out of this world. Make sure to try to the soul rolls and meat pies; although they tend to sell out of these fast as they're super popular. We love this spot and can't recommend it enough.

Excellent meal! Super cool and well kept place. Awesome menu and fantastic out of this world cheesesteak! I had the Jerk cheesesteak and it was superb. Was told as we were leaving, by a return customer, that I needed to try the Soul Roll. You can bet I will on my next trip to Augusta! Super friendly folks made us feel at home, too. One of the VERY few places in Augusta where you're welcomed the moment you walk in. Clint, Russel, Gwala Gwala, and Scott made us feel like the only ones in the restaurant!The food was just as great as the phenomenal service! You're missing out if you've never been to this place. You won't regret it!!!!!

The jerk chicken soul rolls were the business! Definitely will be going back to try the different ones. The wings weren't that great though. Sweet tea was great too.

What a hidden gem! My friend and I had dinner here tonight, and we loved it! We were warned in advance that the wait time may be long, but our food actually came out pretty fast. We both tried items off of each other's plates, and all of it was seasoned to perfection. Everything from the rolls to the wings to the fries to the sauce was delicious! The customer service was awesome, as well. Every employee we encountered was incredibly attentive and seemed to genuinely care about what we thought of the meal. We'll definitely be back. Oh.... And do yourself a favor and get the Kool-Aid to drink with your meal. You will not be disappointed! 🙌🏼

My boyfriend and I order from here possibly on a weekly basis and it's always great. Everyone there is super friendly and fun. I have never found another place that's so consistently good that when we don't feel like cooking we ask eachother what we want to do for dinner and just laugh because it's obviously going to be Jackie M's unless it's a Sunday or Monday.

The best cheese steak sandwich I have ever had! Also, very friendly service. Go and eat there now. :)
